Dosai maavu paniyaram is a tasty South Indian dish made from dosa batter. Instead of spreading the batter like a pancake, it's cooked in a special pan with small, round cups called a "paniyaram pan." The batter is poured into these cups and cooked until the paniyarams are crispy on the outside and soft inside. You can make them plain or add spices like onions and chilies for extra flavor. They're often enjoyed as a snack or breakfast with chutney or sambar.
Next add finely chopped onion, dried chilli and curry leaves to the pan.
Sauté until it becomes golden brown.
Take 2 cup of left over dosa batter.
Add the prepared content to the dosa batter.
Next add ¼ tsp asafoetida to the batter.
Mix and set it aside.
In Paniyaram pan / Appe pan pour ½ tsp. oil in each section.
Fill each section with enough batter.
Allow it to cook for 2 min on one side.
Flip over and cook for another 2 min or until it becomes brown on other side.
Once done you can serve with coconut chutney…
Delicious hot paniyaram is ready…
