Paneer Butter Masala
Equipment
- 1 Frying Pan
- 1 Spatula
Ingredients
- Paneer – 200 grams
- Butter – 6 tbsp / 50 grams
- Onion – 1 Big size
- Tomato – 4 Medium Size
- Ginger – 1 inch
- Garlic Cloves – 2 nos.
- Cashews – 4 – 5 nos.
- Bay Leaf – 1
- Cinamon – 1
- Cardamon – 2
- Garam Masala 1/2 tsp
- Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
- Kasoori Methi – 1 tsp
Instructions
- First lets make a base with onion and tomatoes.
- Melt 1 tbsp of butter in a pan.
- Now add 1 chopped onion on to it.
- And also add some requited amount of salt and saute it for few minutes.
- Saute until it becomes pale.
- Lets add 4 medium sized finely chopped tomatoes on to it.
- Also add 1 inch Ginger on to it.
- Now lets add 2 cloves of Garlic.
- Finally add some cashews and saute it well until the tomatoes are soft and smashed.
- Turn off the flame and grind the mixture once it cools down.
- Now the base of our Paneer Butter Masala is ready.
- Now melt 3 to 4 tbsp of Butter to the pan.
- Now lets add 1 Bay Leaf, 1 Cinamon, 2 Cardamon.
- Also add the grinded paste on to it .
- Saute it for few minutes.
- And add 1/2 tsp of Garam Masala
- Add 1 tbsp Chilli Powder to it.
- Saute it for few minutes.
- Also add 1/2 tsp Sugar to balance the sourness of the tomatoes.
- Finally add required amount of salt on to it.
- Add water if required.
- Saute it for 5 – 6 minutes in medium flame.
- Now lets add 200 grams of paneer on ot it.
- Next lets add 1 tsp Kasoori Methi on ot it. Crush it and add for best results.
- Mix gently for few more minutes.
- Finally add finely chopped coriander leaves on ot it and turn off the flame.
- Our delicious Paneer Butter Masala is ready to serve.
