Egg Gravy

Equipment

  • 1 Pan
  • 1 Spatula
  • 1 Egg Boiling Pan

Ingredients

  • Egg – 5 no's
  • Oil – 2 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Urad Dal – 1/2 tsp
  • Onion – 1 (Medium)
  • Tomato – 2 (Medium)
  • Chilli – 2 nos
  • Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
  • Kulambu Powder – 3 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Curry Leaves – 1 String
  • Coriander Leaves – a bunch
  • Salt as required

Instructions

  • Take the raw eggs and boil for 10 minutes and peel the shell off and keep it aside.
  • Next take the pan and add oil to it. Then add mustard seed and urad dal on to it.
  • Wait until it pops-up.
  • Once the mustard seed attains the required stage, now add finely chopped onion and green chilli.
  • Sauté it until it turns golden brown.
  • Then add 2 sliced tomatoes on to it.
  • Add 1/4 tsp salt to it.
  • Allow them to cook until they form a thick, fragrant base.
  • Meanwhile in a mixer add 2 sliced tomatoes and prepare puree.
  • Then add that puree on to the pan to get thick consistency.
  • Now add 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder and mix well.
  • Later add 1 tbsp of chilli ;powder and sauté it for few minutes.
  • Then add 3 tbsp of kulambu powder on to it and sauté till the raw smell goes.
  • Then add some water to it and mix well. By adding water, you can attain gravy consistency.
  • Allow it to boil for 2 – 3 minutes.
  • Next add required amount of salt on to it.
  • Allow it to boil for 5 minutes.
  • Gently add the boiled eggs into the gravy.
  • Mix slowly and ensure eggs are not broken.
  • Let them for 1 minute to absorb the delicious flavors.
  • Simmer everything together until the gravy reaches your desired consistency and add lastly garnish with curry and coriander leaves.
  • Enjoy the Egg Masala.

Notes

Now add 1/2 tbsp of turmeric powder and mix well.
Later add 1 tbsp of chilli ;powder and sauté it for few minutes.
Then add 3 tbsp of kulambu powder on to it. 
Sauté till the raw smell goes.
Then add some water to it and mix well. By adding water, you can attain gravy consistency.
