Restaurant Style Broccoli Manchurian
Restaurant-style broccoli Manchurian is a delicious Indo-Chinese dish known for its crispy broccoli florets coated in a flavorful varoius sauce. Here’s a recipe to make this dish at home. In its essence, Broccoli Manchurian consists of bite-sized broccoli florets that have been coated in a crispy, flavorful batter, deep-fried to perfection, and then drenched in a tantalizing sauces. The crunchiness of the broccoli fritters pairs perfectly with naan,fried rice. It tastes slightly sweet, and tangy notes with combination of various sauces.
Restaurant Style Broccoli Manchurian
Equipment
- 1 Frying Pan
- 1 Spatula
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Extra Frying Pan
Ingredients
- Maida – 2 tbsp
- Corn Flour – 2 tbsp
- Rice Flour – 3 tbsp
- Red Chilli Powder – 1 tbsp
- Salt – as required
- Black Pepper Powder – ½ tsp
- Ginger Garlic Paste – 2 tbsp
- Soya Sauce – 1 tbsp + 1 tbsp
- Chilli Tomato Sauce – 1½ tsp + 1 tsp
- Cumin Powder – ½ tsp
- Spring Onion finely chopped – ½ cup
- Onion – Medium size 1 no finely chopped
- Capsicum – 1 no finely chopped
- Garlic – 4 nos finely chopped
- Happima Fried Rice Masala – 1 tsp(Small)
Instructions
- Take all the ingredients.
- In a bowl add 2 tbsp Maida/All Purpose flour.
- Next add 2 tbsp Rice Flour.
- Then add 1 tbsp Chilli Powder.
- Now add salt as required.
- Later add ½ tsp Black Pepper Powder.
- Then add Ginger/Garlic Paste on to it.
- Now add 1 tsp of soya sauce.
- Then add Tomato Chilli Sauce.
- mix the content for few seconds.
- Now slowly add water to the ingredients and mix well.
- Bring it to the batter consistency and keep it aside.
- Next add broccoli to the prepared batter.
- Now take a kadaai/frying pan and pre heat it.
- Pour a cup of oil to fry the coated broccoli.
- Add small amount of coated broccoli and fry well.
- Repeat the process until all batter coated broccoli is fried and keep it aside.
- Take another pan and preheat it.
- Pour 3 tbsp of oil on it it.
- Now add ½ tsp of cumin powder and saute for few seconds.
- Then add finely chopped onion on to it.
- Fry till it turns golden brown.
- Then add 1 tbsp of ginger garlic paste to it.
- Saute it for few minutes until raw smell goes.
- Later add finely chopped 1 capsicum on to it and saute it for few more minutes.
- Now add 1/4 tsp spicy happima fried rice masala to the content.
- Later add 1 tsp tomato chilli sauce on to it.
- Then add ½ tsp of black pepper powder on to it.
- Next add finely chopped garlic.
- Saute it for 2 minutes.
- Now slowly add corn flour paste to the content and mix well.
- Later add 1 tbsp of food colouring to the mixture and mix well.
- Finally add fired broccoli to the saucy mixture.
- Saute it for just 1 minute and turn off the flame.
- Lastly add spring onion for tempering.
- Our delicious resturant style broccoli is ready to serve hot.
